Home Energy Conservation - Top Ten TipsPresented by Rodney BellEntergy, Senior Engineer This month's venue: Andrea's Rodney’s presentation will center on the “top ten” energy efficiency improvements you can make to your residence or business to save money, conserve energy and help the environment. Based specifically on our climate here in New Orleans, Rodney will discuss the “rating summary certification” which outlines specific improvement recommendations and projected savings. Rodney Bell's BiographyRodney Bell is a mechanical engineer with a BS degree from Louisiana Tech. He has worked for Entergy for 28 years and is currently a Senior Engineer in Fossil Plant Support for New Orleans area power plants. He has planned and managed a large number of projects and managed many outages.In his spare time, Rodney further developed his interest in home energy conservation by running a small business, “Home Energy Consulting Services”, starting in 1997. Rodney was one of Louisiana’s first energy raters and is a Certified RESNet Energy Rater. With his experience and expertise, he has been a consultant and educator in many aspects of home energy conservation. |
